It is a brand new year and for many the anticipation of spring is great. For golfers, spring means the Masters, Augusta National, and of course the Dominion Classic at Lowes Island Club in Potomac Falls, Virginia. This year’s event will take place on May 14 at Lowes Island’s acclaimed Island Course, and offers many a chance to dust off their clubs, enjoy the company of friends and neighbors, and an opportunity to give back to the community.
The Dominion Classic is sponsored by ATLAS, the Association of Titan Leaders Assisting Students, a non–profit organization dedicated to supporting all students and faculty of Dominion High School (DHS). Proceeds from the Dominion Classic are used to support all of DHS’ academic, athletic, and other extracurricular programs. This event has become an extremely important component of ATLAS’ annual fundraising activities.
Once again, we are seeking the support of organizations to participate as a sponsor for this prestigious event and to support the many deserving programs at DHS. It is through the generous contributions of companies that ATLAS is able to provide resources for teachers and students to enhance their educational experience.
